Easy to assemble and easy to insert, Geneva accommodates most female pelvic anatomies and is suitable for treating the majority of cervical cancer cases up to stage IIB. Offering distortion-free imaging and the option for guided interstitial brachytherapy with every configuration, Geneva provides unprecedented versatility without compromising ease of use and precision.
“Improvements made on this new applicator make its operation process more convenient. It also provides new options in smaller sizes for a wider range of clinical applications.”
Geneva can be configured to suit most female pelvic anatomies. From the smallest ovoid size (13 mm) to the largest (40 mm), the intrauterine tube is available in six different lengths (30 – 80 mm) and at three different angles (15°, 30°, 45°).
Geneva ensures that the option for guided interstitial brachytherapy is always available, even with the smallest ovoids, for optimal target coverage.
Geneva is completely MR safe, offering distortion-free image guidance using all 2D and 3D imaging options.
Designed to be MR and CT safe. This give rigidity and will also set up for image guided adaptive brachytherapy (IGABT) due to interstitial option.
Fixed geometry, as other Elekta brachy applicators, reproducing dosimetry and do easier applicator reconstruction.
Spreading capablilty and allowing for wider reach. Providing a spread of Ovoid range of 15 mm to 40 mm (source to source) where even the smallest ovoids give a wider reach.
使用独特的Elekta点击系统,应用cator is ready for use in just four clicks, ensuring a faster, more efficient workflow.
The modular design is completely adaptable to suit patient needs and the innovative spreading clip ensures flexibility for a wider reach, if required. The applicator clamp is used to immobilize and stabilize the applicator once assembled.
Geneva is compatible with Oncentra Brachy treatment planning software and Elekta treatment delivery platforms.
